All of the courses offered by "name" are provided by the University of Granada

The University teaches these courses in a building located in the Realejo district, in the heart of the city, in the historic Santa Cruz palace which dates from the 16th century. The University is a public institution and belongs to the Spanish State. It is home to more than 60,000 students and is one of the most important university cities in Spain. The Spanish courses for foreign students benefit from more than 15 years of experience.

Foreign students live and study with Spanish students who are learning other languages. As a result, the university has a special international atmosphere, where Spanish and foreign students alike can spend several delightful months in Granada. The University also offers a language exchange programme, and in addition to this there are usually both Spanish and foreign pupils living in our student accommodation.

All of our teachers have degrees in philology, teaching experience, and many of them are specialists in their subject areas (art, culture, history, etc.).

Foreign students have access to all of the University facilities such as libraries, internet access, an email address and sport facilities. Extracurricular activities are organised in which Spanish and foreign students take part together.

Spanish courses offered at the University of Granada

The University of Granada offers four different courses of different lengths:

  • a) Spanish Courses (intensive),
  • b) Hispanic Studies Courses,
  • c) Spanish Language and Culture Courses,
  • d) DELE Preparation Courses (Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera).

If you want to learn Spanish!!!!!

Intensive courses are available only for students who have no prior knowledge of the language, and there are courses of different lengths.

If you want to learn a bit more!!!!!!!

The Hispanic Studies and Spanish Language and Culture Courses are for students who have a good level of Spanish, and admission depends on a preliminary exam. You can choose between literature, history of art, economics…………Just ask us!!!!!

If you want to achieve a Diploma

The preparation course for the DELE is a 20 hour course designed around the DELE exam.

Course programme information

  • Maximum of 30 students in each class.
  • Minimum age of 16 years old.
  • 8 different levels.
  • Opportunity to prepare for the DELE exam.
  • Presentation of a certificate on completing the course.
  • Books and teaching material are not included in the price.
